IHU RespirERA is pleased to host a conference dedicated to major advances in cancer genetics on Friday, January 30, 2026, in Nice.
During this talk, Prof. Dominique Stoppa-Lyonnet, an internationally renowned medical geneticist, will provide an accessible overview of how hereditary cancer predisposition and tumor genetics are now shedding light on each other.
She will explain how combining these two approaches—long studied separately—helps improve cancer diagnosis, prevention strategies, and patient care, while also raising important ethical and societal questions.
This conference is open to healthcare professionals, researchers, and anyone interested in better understanding current challenges in cancer genetics.
