Professor Paul Hofman, director of IHU RespirERA, has been recognized by the International Society of Liquid Biopsy (ISLB). He will receive the ISLB Research Award 2026, a prestigious honor awarded for his outstanding contributions to the field of liquid biopsy, a technique that allows tumor components to be analyzed from a simple blood sample.

As part of this recognition, Professor Hofman has been invited to participate in the 8th Annual ISLB Congress, which will take place from November 7–9, 2026, in Madrid, Spain.
