On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.,IHU RespirERA invites you to the Théâtre de Verdure forecourt in Nice for a day dedicated to prevention, information, and personalized support around respiratory health.
A health journey for everyone
Open to all, this respiratory health pathway has been designed to support everyone according to their needs : whether you want to learn more, get professional advice, reduce or quit smoking, or even undergo a screening, healthcare specialists will be on hand to guide you every step of the way.
Many tobacco specialists (from CSAPA Emergence and CSAPA de L’Archet) will host prevention stands and offer personalized discussions, cessation consultations, and even nicotine replacement therapies for those wishing to begin or continue their journey toward quitting smoking.
Free and painless lung cancer screening
Individuals eligible for lung cancer screening (smokers or former smokers aged 50 to 74) will be able to receive a free, quick, and painless examination directly on site. This is a unique opportunity to take care of your respiratory health with the help of a specialized medical team.
A giant lung to raise awareness
To make a lasting impression, a giant inflatable lung will be installed at the heart of the event: a symbolic and striking way to remind everyone of the importance of protecting their lungs and adopting healthier habits to breathe better.
