On December 12, Nice hosted the graduation ceremony of the European Master in Molecular Pathology (EMMP) for the Class of 2023–2025, proudly known as “The Originals.” This ceremony marked the successful completion of an intensive and demanding academic journey dedicated to excellence in molecular pathology and precision medicine.
The graduates of this inaugural EMMP cohort have completed a comprehensive training programme combining fundamental molecular biology, advanced technologies, and clinical applications in pathology. Their curriculum integrated DNA, RNA and Protein modules, state-of-the-art molecular diagnostics, and translational research, preparing them to contribute actively to innovation in oncology and personalised medicine.
The graduation ceremony provided a moment to celebrate not only academic achievement, but also the strong scientific and human bonds developed throughout the programme. Faculty members, partners, and students gathered to acknowledge the commitment, resilience, and intellectual curiosity demonstrated by this first EMMP generation, whose pioneering role has helped shape the identity and ambitions of the Master.
The Class of 2023–2025 “The Originals” represents a milestone in the history of the EMMP. Their graduation underscores the mission of IHU RespirERA to support high-level education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the training of future leaders in molecular pathology at the interface of research and clinical practice.
