RespirERA meets the public in Nice to discuss respiratory health

The RespirERA Institute took part in the “Journée prévention, dépistage & gestes qui sauvent”, a prevention, screening and lifesaving skills event organised by CPTS Nice Centre Nice Est at the Palais de l’Agriculture in Nice. Its contribution included discussions on respiratory health, an introduction to its projects and a stand where visitors could enrol in respiratory disease screening.

Sharing information and answering questions

Smoking, pollution, prevention and early diagnosis were among the respiratory health topics discussed by the RespirERA teams and visitors. These conversations provided an opportunity to raise awareness, answer questions and highlight the importance of prevention.

Visitors also learned about the institute’s missions and projects. Meeting the team helped them gain a clearer understanding of its work, with information shared in an accessible setting.

Combining information and screening

A dedicated stand was also available for enrolment in respiratory disease screening, giving visitors an opportunity to take part in screening through the event.

This participation reflects RespirERA’s mission to share knowledge: meeting the public to explain respiratory health issues and introduce the institute’s activities.

The RespirERA Institute thanks CPTS Nice Centre Nice Est for organising the event, and all the visitors who came to speak with its teams.
