On November 4, 2026, RespirERA Institute and its partners organized the Parcours Santé Respiratoire (Respiratory Health Trail) on Nice’s Promenade du Paillon. Held as part of Mois sans tabac, France’s smoke-free month campaign, the event gave visitors an opportunity to meet healthcare professionals and learn about respiratory health, with Guillaume Néry taking part.
Talking About Respiratory Health With Healthcare Professionals
Discussing tobacco use, asking questions about e-cigarettes, or learning about screening can be a first step toward preventive care. By bringing the event into a public space, RespirERA and its partners aimed to make these conversations easier and health information accessible to everyone.
The day combined information about tobacco and e-cigarettes, support for quitting smoking, and breathing tests. Visitors could also learn about screening and referral options based on their individual circumstances and eligibility.
This public outreach event reflects the institute’s approach to engaging with local residents, providing information, and helping them access prevention and early detection services.
Sharing a Breathing Experience With Guillaume Néry
Guillaume Néry, an ambassador for RespirERA Institute, joined the event to lead a breathing exercise followed by a breath-holding session on land.
His session offered another way to explore breathing through a shared experience. It complemented the conversations about respiratory health taking place throughout the day.
After his session, Guillaume Néry also answered our questions in a short interview, which we will share soon.
A Shared Commitment to Respiratory Health
The Respiratory Health Trail brought together RespirERA’s teams and their partners with a shared commitment to making preventive care more accessible to the public.
RespirERA Institute thanks the healthcare professionals and partners involved, Guillaume Néry, and everyone who came to meet them in Nice on November 4.
